WE'VE LAUNCHED!!!!!

 

 

RedSugar and I have launched our t-shirt company. We're building a site now, but in the meantime you can find us on Facebook through our fanpage:

We're both designing the shirts and highlighting the differences in our styles as Bright and Dark. All our designs are hand drawn and screen printed.

 

We've got 4 designs currently available, but will be adding to the collection as we move forward. We already have additional designs, concepts, and collections in progress, and are really excited to get going!

SO Ms. RedSugar and I have been having creative nights, drawing, planning, doodling, painting, etc. Progress is slow, but it's not easy when you feel like the wee hours of the morning are the best times for creative evergy.... when you have full time jobs the next day.

BUT, my point is that new stuff is coming. Soon. Things have been tough in general lately, in many ways, but it's only more motivation to get something out there we're proud of. Right, Ms. RedSugar?

 

That's all i'm stopping by to say. More to leave a marker for myself in my blog that we're supposed to be creating stuff, but if anyone's listening, that's cool, too.

Okay so i finished these a while ago, but never got around to posting them. These are just a simple design for Lynne, the founder of how2heroes! Like I said... the design is super simple, but here they are:

Okay I feel like I should post some non-shoe art just to get back to the original point of starting up this blog. These are all drawings in various stages of "unfinished" from over the past few years haha. Hopefully this will kickstart me into finishing some projects I've left undone for too long.

Soooo.... here we go. Sorry the photos are poor quality....  I'll post better ones later once I have scans instead.

I have so much I want to get done... but time is limited considering I still have to hold down my job.... so for now, I'm trying to sneak in what I can.

Anyway... that's all for now, really. Maybe some new post-it note doodles will turn up over the course of the week, if I don't get caught!

First of all.... thanks to RedSugar for posting for me on Monday. I've been down for the count for the past 4 days or so, and my roommate was kind enough to drop a note for me here, so.... THANKS!!!

I'm just here to quickly post these shoes for LeendaDLL (and to advertise RedSugar's customs just posted on her blog. Check her out!)

LeendaDLL was my first actual request, so I feel horrible it's taken so long to post them up here. Hope she likes them! Timing has just been really off with these!!! Without further ado.... the Burlesque Vans!

I've been working on these for a while now (on and off), and finally finished them yesterday! Hooray! I was debating waiting to post them since I'll be posting the Burlesque shoes tomorrow or Saturday before I mail them off (LeendaDLL, I'll need your address!!!)

BUT..... I got excited. hahaha. So.... Here are the knee high customs for my roommate.

Okay, this one is FINALLY done. Here's a pair of converse for brooke (who was kind enough to supply her own shoes!). I've discovered it's a lot tougher on dark shoes. I've been working on these for some time, but I'm pretty happy with how they've turned out.
